I am very new to Revit and still learning. I'm having an issue with one of my projects. The W, N, S Elevation views show everything. The E view only shows levels and floors.

Go to the east elevation view, turn on crop region and check if visible. Or go to plan view, turn on elevations and adjust view depth.

Click the triangle of the exterior elevation symbol in plan. That highlights a blue line, which you can drag closer to the building. You can also do that via the System Browser, you'll have to scroll down a bit.

p.s.: It sounds like you need to pull the blue line back, as you're describing a Building Section.
